• iMC 2.0 (Intelligent Machine Control): Unlike aftermarket systems with delicate masts and cables on the blade, the D61PXi-24 uses a cab-top GNSS antenna and stroke-sensing hydraulic cylinders. For 2023, iMC 2.0 adds Proactive Dozing Control, which maps the terrain as the tracks move over it and uses that data to plan the next pass, improving productivity by up to 60%.

• Lift Layer Control: A standout 2023 feature that automatically spreads fill material in consistent, even layers. By measuring the terrain under the tracks, the machine plans the next pass to ensure optimal compaction quality, effectively doubling production during spreading tasks.

Operator Comfort & Maintenance

• Super-Slant Nose Design: One of Komatsu’s most iconic features. By relocating the cooling package to the rear, the front hood slopes steeply away from the cab. This gives the operator an unobstructed view of the blade and the ground directly in front of the machine, which is critical for precision grading.

• Heated Air-Suspension Seat: The 2023 model prioritizes the operator with a high-back, heated seat that features adjustable lumbar support and tilt. The cab itself is pressurized to keep dust out and uses viscous mounts to dampen the noise and vibration of heavy pushing.
